Our Journey to Portugal
Hi we are Angela and Ralph from Sweden. After many years of running our own businesses in health and healthcare, it was time for a new phase in our lives. The idea of leaving Sweden and moving south to warmer latitudes gradually took shape, and in late autumn 2020, we set off for the Algarve in Portugal. After three years and many enriching experiences, we made the decision to move north, still in Portugal.
We found our paradise on the Silver Coast, just outside the charming town of Caldas da Rainha, a little over 80 kilometers north of Lisbon. Here, life moves at a gentler pace, shaped by the rhythm of the ocean and the traditions of the local communities.

"Here we have everything, we don’t need the rest of Portugal."
This region is vibrant all year round, a truly authentic Portugal.
